This page explains the regulatory position and service boundaries for Pay Cycle Budgeting UK.
Pay Cycle Budgeting UK is not authorised or regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. The service is limited to household budgeting support and does not include regulated financial advice, credit advice, debt counselling, debt adjusting, mortgage advice, pension advice, investment advice or insurance advice.
The service can record repayment amounts supplied by the customer as budget lines. It does not advise what debts to pay, whether to consolidate, whether to enter a debt solution, or how to negotiate with creditors.
The service does not provide accountancy, bookkeeping, payroll, VAT, tax returns, accounts preparation, HMRC submissions or tax advice. It is personal household budgeting support only.
Benefit, wage, tax credit or support payments can be included as figures supplied by the customer. Pay Cycle Budgeting UK does not assess benefit entitlement, appeal decisions or calculate tax.
If a customer appears to need regulated or specialist help, they may be signposted to appropriate advice organisations or regulated professionals.
